Anthropologist Linda Seligmann to Discuss Transnational and Transracial Adoption

Dr. Linda Seligmann will speak on March 2 at 4:00 in Posvar 4130 about "The Circulation of Children through Transnational and Transracial Adoption: Filters, Fantasies, Fragments." Dr. Seligmann is Professor of Anthropology at George Mason University and author of Broken Links, Enduring Ties: American Adoption Across Race, Class, Gender (Stanford, 2013). This book compares families which include adopted Chinese, Russian, and African-American Children.
