Tolkien and Modern Fantasy conference

Next Friday, March 27, Pitt will host a one-day conference on "Tolkien and Modern Fantasy" on Friday, March 27. The conference is presented by The Fantasy Studies Fellowship in honor of its tenth anniversary. It features student panels in the morning and talks in the afternoon by New York Times bestselling author of the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy, Laini Taylor, and Medievalist and founding editor of the Tolkien Studies journal, Professor Michael Drout.
