We are very pleased to announce the winners of the 2016 Children's Literature Paper Prize competition, in recognition of the best undergraduate essay written for a children’s literature class at Pitt. This year: Taylor Saghy won first prize for her paper, "Simulacra in Paper Towns," written for Critical Approaches to Children's Literature taught by Courtney Weikle-Mills. Christina Cerio won second prize for her paper, "Structural Analysis of Mister Rogers," written for Children and Media taught by Tyler Bickford. Congratulations to these students and their teachers!
